After writing the script above, i then used voice actors to read from the script. After i then edited the voices to give them the spooky atmosphere. After importing the voices into the libary i then needed to import them into the final product with their ready made buttons. I then came across the problem of over complicating my scenes with too much actionscript. To battle this i added more scenes with singular action scripts.

PRODUCTION DIARY PART 2
After importing my images into Flash using scenes I then needed to look at the different sounds needed. There is a website called freesound.org where I was able to get copyright free music. I chose very ambient music for the horror feel of the project. I then recorded the voice of a man he had a deep voice to improve the butlers appearance. And then deepened the voice using audition and improve the echo necessary. Once completed I saved them as a WAV file. This can then be imported into my flash production.

PRODUCTION DIARY
This is the butler that will greet you once in the house. In order for him to look spooky and different i based his head on that of 'Slender Man'. This means no facial features to do so i used the 'patch tool' on photoshop to blend the face. Then to lightent the redened areas i used the dodge tool and quick selection to delete the background.
This image has been manipulated in the same way as the butler previous. the patch
Next i made the interactive features of the haunted house this includes the phone, the padlock and the buttons. i photoshopped them to have a transparent background and then saved it as a PNG file.
After making the buttons that make the interactive side of my haunted house. I then had to think about the backgrounds i would be using. these all had to be saved as JPEG's. Once edited in photoshop, i then imported them to my libary on flash. In photoshop i edited them by darkening the images and editing their appearance such as light through.
This is where the butler will be placed. it has been editied as the sky has changed colour and it has been darkened.
I need a menu/ start screen and so instead of a haunted house (copyright reasons) i am now using a haunted warehouse. The story line has been edited slightly at the start as now so that the player will be with a friend and wanting to go into the warehouse for fun. This will not edit the storyline after this.
For the haunted warehouse i am going to photoshop an image of the ware house by changing the sky and adding graffiti to the wall. to fit the wall i will use the perspective tool. and also the patch tool on the unwated brick wall.
Next after meeting the butler in the storyline the user now must run after recieving a text. i then need a new hall way to run through. I aslo need a zoomed in version with the girl on it to help the animation. Firstly to add to the theme of slender i added a graphic of him to the walls. The girl is now also featured in the second image. After this i put the majority of the images into flash as a kind of storyboard to help production.
white noise will be added to this image to give a horror feel.

STORYBOARD
SOUNDS
Ambient sounds.
Spot sound effects.
Dialogue sounds.
Music sounds.
For ambient sounds I will include some mood changing music, it will deliver the genre of horror and will make the viewer to feel fear.
For spot sound effects i will need sounds to make the button more interactive. Also when clicking other things such as interactive items to complete the mystery they need to be interactive inorder to keep the interest of the audience. also there will be crashing and possibly chainsaw sounds.
Dialogue sounds i will have is a little girl singing a nursery rhyme to spook the character.
Music sounds i will use are minimal and scary.

PHOTOSHOP + FLASH WORK
PHOTOSHOP...
In Photoshop I started with two individual photos. I first
edited the layer so it wasn’t locked. Then on the image of the house I deleted
the sky and paste my thunder sky. After this I used the stamp I got rid of some
fencing. I then superimposed some images of popular viral videos using layers. I
set the overall size to the same as the stage of flash. I then imported it to
the library of flash and aligned them to the stage. To superimpose a picture onto my image i used the quick selection tool and deleted the background. I then darkened it to make it look real.
FLASH...
I then needed buttons in order to make the flash animation. Keeping in with the theme I made a spooky sign with blood on it which I did slightly differently 3 times, using Photoshop and the brush tool. I made the files a PNG so it would stay transparent. All the 3 were a smaller size than the original house so they could be used as buttons. The three different PNG files were so I had one for normal, one for when mouse is hovering and one for when clicked. To do this i selected my images and created a new symbol. i changed them into buttons and used blank key frames i made the buttons interactive. To make the button fuctional i made a new scene that would go onto the next section. To make this work i had to add an actionscript. In the window tab i selected the scene section. Then i checked the properties of the button and then changed the actionscript so that it was then set out to change to the next scene when clicked.

-Haunted house
-Butler flesh wound
-Find key
Why I selected this brief...
The player is found at an american style gas/diner. when he goes to pay he is told to go to the boss who is next door. the player ventures next door to pay his debt.
When walking towards the house music builds to create intensity. the door is already openedand the players hand opens the door and door creek

Why I selected this brief...
I selected this brief as I am able to come up with many
ideas to fit the criteria and target audience. The haunted house appeals to
most in the category 13-15, both male and female. It should be very stereotypical
and so as a fan of horror games such as ‘Left 4 Dead 2’ I seemed more equipped
for this brief, this is also what interested me into this brief.

This is the style of zombies I would like on my haunted house as then it pushes the boundaries of the age category. Most games between the ages set at 12 and 15 feature red blood.
